1. Free plan
The app is free to download. The free plan includes unlimited recording and playback and 3 transcripts per week, resetting every Monday at midnight local time. For each free transcript you can read the first 10 minutes. Recordings over the weekly limit are saved and playable, and their transcripts unlock if you upgrade.
2. Voice Smart Pro
Pro is available as:
- Annual: $29.99 a year, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Monthly: $4.99 a month.
- Lifetime: $59.99 once, a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Prices are shown in US dollars. The App Store shows the price in your local currency before you buy.
3. Subscriptions and free trials
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings under your name, then Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Recording other people
You're responsible for following the law when you record. In many places you need the consent of everyone being recorded, especially for phone calls and private conversations. Tell people when you're recording, and follow your school's or workplace's rules about recording lectures and meetings.
5. Transcription accuracy
Transcripts are generated automatically and can contain mistakes, particularly with names, technical terms, accents, overlapping speech or background noise. Review a transcript before relying on it, and don't use it as the only record for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical purposes.
6. Your content
Your recordings and transcripts are yours. They're stored on your iPhone; we don't have a copy and can't recover them if they're deleted or your device is lost. Keep your iPhone backed up if your recordings matter to you.
7. Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app and these terms. If we make a material change to these terms, we'll update the date above and mention it in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
